A Whimsical alternative that draws the process map from the call
Whimsical is a whiteboard for product teams, with AI flowcharts, mind maps, and wireframes from a text prompt. Wavelength builds the process map from what people say on a call, or from the transcript after it. This page lists the facts about both.

The short answer
- Whimsical is a visual collaboration tool for diagrams, wireframes, and mind maps. Its AI makes a flowchart from a text prompt that you type.
- Wavelength makes the flowchart from the conversation. You talk, or paste the call transcript, and the map is ready when the call ends.

Where each tool is strong
Whimsical makes UI wireframes and wireflows for web and mobile screens. Wavelength does not make UI wireframes. Wavelength makes process maps: people, steps, systems, decisions, and data stores.
Where Wavelength fits
A Whimsical prompt needs a person who already knows the process and can type it. In discovery, the process comes in pieces while the customer talks. Wavelength listens to those pieces and puts them in process order. When the AI infers a link that nobody said, it draws the link dashed and amber, so you confirm it before you send the map.
See transcript to flowchart and the Chrome side panel for the two ways to start.
