A Tango alternative when the process lives in a conversation
Tango (now at tango.ai) turns a workflow on screen into a step-by-step guide, with in-app walkthroughs. Wavelength turns a spoken process into a process map. This page lists the facts about both.
We checked Tango's pricing page and Tango's voice transcription help article on October 19, 2026. Check them before you buy.
The short answer
- Tango captures a workflow in the Chrome or Edge browser and makes a screenshot guide. Guide Me walks users through the real app.
- Wavelength makes a process map from what people say on a call, or from the transcript. The map shows people, systems, decisions, and data stores.

Where each tool is strong
Tango Guide Me walks a user through the real app, click by click. For software training inside the app, that is its strength.
Where Wavelength fits
A screen guide shows one task in one app. A process map shows the whole path: the handoffs, the waits, and the decisions between teams. Wavelength draws that path while someone explains it. Inferred links show dashed and amber until a person confirms them.
See transcript to flowchart and the Chrome side panel for the two ways to start.
