An Eraser alternative that draws the process while people talk
Eraser makes architecture and technical diagrams with AI, from text, code, or files. Wavelength makes a process map from a live conversation. This page lists the facts about both.
We checked Eraser's pricing page and Eraser's process flow generator page on October 19, 2026. Check them before you buy.
The short answer
- Eraser is built for engineering diagrams. Its AI reads text, code, Git repositories, images, and documents, including pasted transcripts.
- Wavelength is built for the discovery call. It listens while people talk and draws the process map before the call ends.

Where each tool is strong
Eraser builds architecture diagrams from code and keeps them in sync with the code and the cloud account. For system architecture, that is its strength.
Where Wavelength fits
A pasted transcript needs a person to pick the right excerpts after the call. Wavelength uses the whole conversation while it happens, so the customer can correct a wrong step on the call. Every plan exports BPMN 2.0, draw.io, and Mermaid, so the map goes to the next tool.
See transcript to flowchart and the Chrome side panel for the two ways to start.
