Employee Offboarding process diagram
This is a worked example. Wavelength built the diagram below from the description on this page. Nobody drew it by hand.
What was said
HR initiates the offboarding when an employee gives notice. IT removes access to all systems. The manager collects company equipment from the employee. Payroll checks whether the equipment was returned. If it was returned, payroll processes the final paycheck. If not, payroll holds the final pay until the equipment comes back. HR closes the employee record once everything is settled.
