Wavelength for Microsoft Teams

Map the process during a Teams call, then post the finished flow to the Teams channel.

Every plan, including Free. The free plan needs no card.

What it does

During the call, open the Wavelength side panel in Chrome beside Teams on the web and talk through the process. After the call, you can also upload the Teams recording or transcript.

When the flow is ready, post it to a Teams channel as a card with the summary, open questions, and an Open in Wavelength button. Setup uses Teams Workflows, so there is no app for an admin to install.

What you can do

  • Build the diagram live beside a Teams call on the web.
  • Upload a Teams recording or transcript after the call.
  • Post a flow card to a Teams channel from Export, then Send to.
  • Save several channels and send a test card from Settings.

How to connect

  1. In the Teams channel, open Workflows and pick "Post to a channel when a webhook request is received". Copy the URL it gives you.
  2. In Wavelength, open Settings, then Channels and webhooks, then Add. Pick Microsoft Teams and paste the URL.
  3. Wavelength sends a test card. Then use Export, then Send to, on any flow.

Access and privacy

Wavelength stores the Workflows URL encrypted and uses it only to post the flows you send. It cannot read your Teams chats or files.

Common questions

No. Wavelength does not join meetings. You use your own microphone in the side panel, or you upload the recording.
