Wavelength for Claude

Ask Claude to map a process, edit a flow, or share it, in plain English.

Every plan, including Free. The free plan needs no card.

What it does

Wavelength has a remote MCP server. Add it to Claude as a custom connector and sign in with your Wavelength account. You do not need an API key.

Claude can then create, read, edit, and share your flows. A flow shows as an interactive diagram in the chat. Open it in Wavelength to keep editing.

What you can do

  • Turn call notes or a transcript into a saved flow.
  • List, search, and read your flows.
  • Edit a flow in plain English. Each edit saves a version.
  • Get a public read-only link to share a flow.
  • Export a flow as Mermaid, JSON, SVG, or draw.io.
  • Import a Mermaid, draw.io, or SVG diagram as an editable flow.

How to connect

  1. Copy the connector URL: https://wavelengthflow.com/api/mcp
  2. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors. Click Add, then Add custom connector.
  3. Name it Wavelength, paste the URL, and click Add.
  4. Click Connect, sign in with your Wavelength account, and click Approve.
  5. In a new chat, click + and turn on Wavelength.

Access and privacy

Sign-in uses OAuth. Each tool acts only as you, and your plan limits apply the same way as in the app. Transcripts are never used to train a model. To let the AI read your flows but never change them, open Settings, then AI connector, and turn on read-only mode.

Common questions

Does Wavelength work with Claude?

Yes. Add Wavelength as a custom connector. Claude can then create, read, edit, and share your flows.

Do I need an API key?

No. You sign in with your Wavelength account when you connect.

Can the AI change my flows by mistake?

Turn on read-only mode in Settings, then AI connector. The AI can then list, read, search, summarize, and export flows, but it cannot create, edit, share, or delete them.

Does it cost extra?

No. The connector uses your normal Wavelength plan. A free account works.
