Zoom integration

Turn the process a customer describes on a Zoom call into a flow you can edit, during the call or after it.

Chrome side panel and file upload: every plan, including Free. Zoom cloud recording import: Starter and Pro.

What you can do

Import a Zoom cloud recording

Connect your Zoom account and pick a recording from the last 30, 90, or 180 days. Wavelength puts the transcript in the editor and builds the flow.

Map live beside Zoom on the web

Open the side panel next to the Zoom tab. Hold the mic and talk through the steps.

Ship the deliverable

Export the flow to PNG, PDF, PowerPoint, draw.io, or BPMN. Or send it to HubSpot, Salesforce, Jira, Notion, or Slack.

See it in action

Watch a short demo of the Wavelength Chrome side panel next to a call.

The Wavelength side panel builds the flow while you talk. The flow saves to your account.

How it works

  1. Add Wavelength for Chrome from the Chrome Web Store and pin the icon.
  2. Open Zoom on the web, open the side panel, and sign in with your Wavelength account.
  3. Hold the mic and talk through the process. The flow saves to your account.
  4. If you use the Zoom desktop app, open Wavelength after the call, click Upload, and pick the recording or the transcript.

Import a Zoom cloud recording

  1. In Zoom, turn on audio transcripts in the cloud recording settings. Wavelength imports the transcript, not the video.
  2. In Wavelength, open the Transcript panel and click Zoom. Click Connect Zoom and approve access.
  3. Pick the range (last 30, 90, or 180 days) and the recording. Wavelength puts the transcript in the editor, with each line labeled by speaker.
  4. Click Generate Flow.

Zoom App (in review)

We submitted the Wavelength Zoom App to the Zoom App Marketplace on October 13, 2026. It opens the full Wavelength app in the Zoom meeting side panel, with dictation, Ask AI edits, Go live, summaries, follow-ups, and every export and send. It is not yet in the Zoom App Marketplace.

  • Invite all: ask everyone in the meeting to open Wavelength.
  • Post live link: post the Go live link in the meeting chat, so people can follow the map.
  • Record: the host can start Zoom cloud recording, so the transcript can be imported after the call.
  • The meeting topic becomes the flow title.

Add the Zoom App

  1. Open the Wavelength listing in the Zoom App Marketplace and click Add. Approve the access that Zoom shows.
  2. In a Zoom meeting, click Apps, then Wavelength. Sign in with your Wavelength account. The Zoom App needs a Starter or Pro plan.

Use the Zoom App

  1. Press the mic and talk through the process. The flow builds while you speak.
  2. Use the bar at the top: Invite all, Post live link (after you press Go live), Record (host only), and Expand.
  3. After the call, open the Transcript panel, click Zoom, and import the cloud recording transcript.

Remove the Zoom App

  1. Sign in at marketplace.zoom.us, open Manage, then Added Apps, and click Remove next to Wavelength.
  2. To delete the Zoom tokens that Wavelength stores, open the Zoom import dialog in Wavelength and click Disconnect Zoom. Wavelength deletes the stored tokens at once.
  3. To delete your flows and your account, open Settings in Wavelength and select Delete account.

Worked example

A field service manager explains job close-out on a Zoom call:

"Techs close the job in the mobile app. Dispatch checks the photos. If parts were used, the warehouse restocks the van."

What lands in Wavelength

  • A flow that starts at "Job closed in mobile app", with the mobile app as a system.
  • A step for dispatch and a decision, such as "Parts used?".
  • A step for the warehouse on the Yes branch.
  • Dashed amber links where the AI guessed a connection, plus a question for each one.

Who uses this

Security and permissions

Wavelength does not join the meeting. The side panel uses your own microphone and does not read the meeting audio.

Cloud recording import asks Zoom for these scopes: user:read:user, cloud_recording:read:list_user_recordings, and cloud_recording:read:list_recording_files. Wavelength reads the transcript file of the recording you pick. It does not download the video and does not store the transcript outside your flow. Zoom tokens are stored encrypted. Disconnect in the Zoom import dialog.

A recording or transcript you upload is used to build your flow. Wavelength does not train AI models on your content.
