Wavelength for Make

Turn a process map into a Make scenario that you can finish.

Every plan, including Free. The free plan needs no card.

What it does

Export any flow as a Make scenario blueprint (.json). The blueprint starts with a Custom webhook trigger. Each step becomes a Set variable module with the step name, and each decision becomes a Router.

This export is in Beta. In Make, use Import blueprint, then pick your webhook.

What you can do

  • Export a Make scenario blueprint from any flow.
  • Get one Router for each decision.
  • Get one named module for each step, ready to replace.
  • Send a finished flow to a Make webhook as JSON.

How to connect

  1. Open the flow and click Export.
  2. Pick Make scenario (.json).
  3. In Make, open a new scenario and use Import blueprint.
  4. Pick your webhook, then replace each module with the real action.

Access and privacy

The .json file is made in your browser and makes no AI call. Wavelength does not connect to your Make account.

What is in the blueprint

  • Trigger: a Custom webhook module. You pick your own webhook after the import.
  • Note: a Set variable module named wavelength_note that says the scenario is a skeleton.
  • Steps: one Set variable module for each step, system, data store, or screen. The variable name is the step label in snake case, such as check_invoice_total.
  • Decisions: one Router for each decision. Each route has a filter named after the branch label, such as Yes or No.
  • People and teams: no module. The flow passes through them.
  • Loops: a link back to an earlier step is left out, because a Make scenario runs one way.
  • Joins: Make routes cannot merge. When two branches meet at one step, the second branch ends with a marker module that says "Continue at" and the step name.

A worked example

Open the invoice email to accounting template and export it as a Make scenario. The blueprint starts with the webhook, then has a module for each step of the invoice flow and a Router for each check, with one route for each answer. Replace each module with the real app, such as your mail app and your accounting app, then set the filter rules on each route.
